What if your food helped you to detoxify and could keep your heart young? What if your food could truly and I mean really, keep you young and could guard your body from cancer? What if you found out that your food could actually shrink tumors and could be used even if chronic conditions are already in your life? What if your food could change how your DNA to make you healthier?
Sound too good to be true?
It’s not!
What if I told you it was The Diet For The Garden written in Genesis and is the last diet you will ever need?
How motivated are you to claim God’s promise of 120 healthy years on this earth?
So what is The Diet For The Garden?
“And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.”
What does this include?
Let’s look a little closer at Genesis for the answer. The King James Version is written as follows;
“And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
Comparing the two verses, you can see something has been left out. That something is the tender grasses. Tender grasses are the grasses or what we call grains. They are called ‘mono’ meaning one and ‘cot’ meaning leaf because they grow from one leaf into stalks or blades. These are corn, wheat, rye and other grasses and grains. God did not give us those to eat in the garden! It turns out, grains contain an amino acid, which if limited allows tumors shrink and helps our bodies to heal from metabolic diseases including diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiopulmonary issues and others. It can even be used in advanced chronic diseases safely with doctor’s or lab testing.

Why does The Diet For The Garden reduce cardiovascular disease?
The Diet For The Garden restricts methionine merely by following the foods prescribed in Genesis. Dietary methionine restriction increases fat burning and fat storage in the liver. This has a lowering effect on circulating lipids, and limits fat deposition by increasing energy expenditure or the amount of calories used. Limiting fat deposition or the putting on of fat, helps to keep our hearts healthy.
The fats included in The Diet For The Garden come from sources such as olives, avocado, pumpkin seeds, walnuts and other nuts, leafy greens like kale, squashes and root vegetables. These fats are mostly monounsaturated fatty acids. Monosaturated fatty acids protect the body from oxidation and damage due to reactive oxygen species because they are less likely to oxidize with only one double bond.
The Diet For The Garden also offers foods containing a-linolenic acids (ALA), which can prevent coronary heart disease. Increased ALA reduces the risk of myocardial infarction and fatal ischemic heart disease even if the patient smokes. Don’t get me wrong, smoking still puts you at greater risk!. The ALA eaten from plant sources can convert to DHA and EPA in small amounts. Purslane, a common weed and salad green contains trace amounts of DHA and EPA as well as ALA. Walnut, avocado, almonds, flax and olive contain ALA and only small amounts of n-6 fatty acid. This balances our fatty acids and enables us to convert as needed. A correct balance of n-3 fatty acids and n-6 fatty acid helps many body functions including:
• Lowering cholesterol levels and balances synthesis
• Reducing triglyceride levels
• aiding digestive secretions,
• aiding respiratory muscle contractions
• reducing inflammation, helping our immune system and reducing cancer.
• aiding our nervous systems and mood
• preventing formation of blood clots, reducing their breaking off and causing heart attacks or strokes.
Before we go on, I would like to address some of the other reasons to use plant based foods. As an animal eats, he or she accumulates the toxins included in their foods. For instance, if a large fish eats many small fish, the large fish accumulates all of the toxins the small fish stored in their bodies. This is called bioaccumulation. Our environment is continually getting more polluted and the animals are storing more and more toxins, as are we. One way to cut the toxins going into our bodies is to eat organic plants that are grown in safe places. Some plants are used as bioaccumulationers, to clean up mine tailings and superfund sites. We must be careful our foods are grown safely, in clean areas and avoid eating bioaccumulating animals and plants.
Extra virgin olive oil contains oleic acid and other phenolic compounds. The cold pressed, non-chemically derived oil is full of healthful bioactive, phytochemicals because it isn’t heated or changed of alkalinity or acidity. It is no wonder, the good Samaritan used olive oil to bind the wounds of the injured man. Olive oil phenolic compounds have antioxidant capacities that make them potent free radical scavengers. These powerful phenolics help inhibit low density lipid oxidation and fight thrombosis or blood clot formation. Olive oil decreases cancer cell growth, division and migration. Olive oil also helps prevent organ fibrosis and is important to anti-aging of organs. Extra virgin olive oil can induce epigenetic changes in how our DNA is copied to help prevent the up-regulation of genes associated with aging.
The vegetables eaten in The Diet For The Garden contain sulfur and together with sunlight can help to prevent cardiovascular disease, atherosclerotic plaque buildup and damage through oxidation. This damage causes inflammation and even necrosis or tissue death. The mucopolysaccharides found in plant foods such as yams, plantain, aloe vera, mallows, sea weeds and many seeds, help repair damaged epithelial tissue like those found in our blood vessels and skin. This helps to help keep our organs and skin healthy and youthful.
