Mom and I love to indulge in a cup of green tea topped with cinnamon for a warming lift without the jitters and without raising our methionine levels. The cinnamon gives it this entirely different flavor. But, its important to get really good cinnamon and the link on the bottom is for a really good brand. Remember, that herbs are only good for 1 year in your cupboard so give your garden the old cinnamon and get some fresh. I promise you will be able to tell a huge difference when it hits your tongue and your tummy. Cinnamon also lowers your blood sugar so a little a day is good for lifting the metabolism!

I really prefer to take my Yerba Mate (a strong flavored green tea) in Loose Leaf form. We don’t think about it but it pollutes a lot less than bags..
